Dust Balls

Our little prophets always hide themselves
Beneath the bed, waving as we pass.
We pay them never mind, and mind the shelves
Instead: it’s easier to see the mass
Of business at our fingertips and smile,
Than think we’ll too be dust balls in awhile.
